DAY 01 - ARRIVAL IN LIMA
Upon arrival in Lima, you will be welcomed by one of our representatives, who will give you a brief introduction to the city and our services while on the way to your hotel in Miraflores district.
 
Lima, “The City of Kings” famous for its Spanish Colonial architecture and its extraordinary museum, recognized as the "Gastronomic Capital of the Americas", and its cuisine is considered among the most diverse and exquisite in the world compared with French cuisine.

DAY 02 - LIMA CITY TOUR + LUNCH + LARCO MUSEUM TOUR
After breakfast at your hotel, you will start visiting Miraflores, which is one of the biggest-touristic attractions in Lima. Shortly after we will look at the panoramic view of the Huaca Pucllana, and the archaeological precinct built in the IV century A.C.
 
Next, we will stop in San Isidro to visit the Olive Grove Park. Later, we will go to the historical center where we will visit one of Lima’s most beautiful buildings and attractions such as the San Martin Square, the Main Square, the Governmental Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace and the City Hall.
At the end, we will visit the museum of Saint Francis Convent, which features the biggest collection of religious art in all the Americas and its famous subterranean crypts known as the Catacombs.
 
After the tour, you will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch before you continue your visit to the Larco Museum.

DAY 03 – GASTRONOMIC TOUR + LUNCH
10:00 am Passengers will be picked up at their hotel and driven to the local Surquillo Fresh Produce Market in order to start the tour.
Visit to a Typical Peruvian Market
10:15 am During the visit to Mercado Modelo Market in Surquillo passengers will have the chance to see the ingredients used to prepare our most traditional dishes.
10:45 am Departure to the cooking master class.
 
Preparation of Pisco Sour and Ceviche
11:15 am Arrival at a traditional eatery where our Chef we will give us a practical demonstration of how ceviche, our most representative dish, is prepared as well as the mixing and a tasting of a delicious Pisco sour, our world-famous cocktail.

DAY 04 - FULL DAY PACHACAMAC & PERUVIAN PASO HORSE SHOW
 
Pachacamac
Visit the Pachacamac citadel, often called the Rome of the Andes, with its temples, streets, pyramids, cemeteries, and home of the most famous oracle in the Andean empire. People from all over the Tawantinsuyo Empire visited this shrine to learn what the future held in store for themselves, their communities as well as the outcome of important battles, possible droughts, and other catastrophes.
 
Peruvian Paso Horse
Spend one day in contact with nature and enjoy an exhibition of the Peruvian Paso Horses, ridden by skillful trainers, performing an amazing show.
Our tour takes place in a private “casa hacienda’’ located in the valley of Lurin (30 km away from Lima city). In this show, you will literally see the horses “dance” to the music of a traditional folk dance from the Coast called Marinera. After the show, you will enjoy a delicious lunch.

DAY 05 – LIMA TO ICA + FLY OVER  THE NAZCA LINE
Transfer to the station to take the bus to Ica. At your arrival assistance and transfer to Pisco airport and discover the mystery of the Nazca Lines and appreciate them by air in a small aircraft. In this amazing tour, you can see and the giant figures that the ancient inhabitants of Peru left marked on the vast Pampa de Nazca.
Proof of the genius and wisdom our ancestors had. Dr. Maria Reiche, a German archeologist who dedicated her life to studying the lines described it as the largest astronomical calendar in the world.
We will fly over these mysterious drawings made in the sand that represent several animal shapes such as a spider, a monkey, a dog, a hummingbird, a condor, amongst others; all of these having huge dimensions that vary from 50ft to 985 ft. in length and one-foot depth.
 
After the tour, you will stop at a local restaurant for lunch
We will then board a bus and continue onto Huacachina. It is home to an extraordinary adventure with dune buggies and sandboarding down the dunes! This tour is both thrilling and jaw-dropping. After that, we leave Huacachina at 7:00 pm back to Paracas to your hotel.

DAY 06 – BALLESTAS ISLAND + PARACAS TO LIMA
In the morning admiring the sea and the ecological richness of Peru. Early morning departure to the pier to board comfortable sailboats and sail the Ballestas Islands. In this area, there is an important marine fauna and here you will find large colonies of seabirds such as the guanay, the booby, the tendril plus some examples of Peruvian penguins (Humboldt), a lot of seals (fur seals and sea lion) besides other species. Prepare your camera to take amazing pictures of the biodiversity in this area and also the famous “Candelabro de Paracas” (part of the Nazca Lines).
 
At according time return to the station to take the bus back to Lima.

DAY 07 - PUERTO MALDONADO - CAIMAN COCHA
Upon your arrival in Puerto Maldonado, Peru’s capital of biodiversity, we will welcome you at the airport. Then, we’ll start our program by visiting the city on a bus.
Then, we will go to Puerto Capitanía, the port where our riverboat will be waiting for us.  We will sail across Rio Bajo Madre de Dios (Winding River) until arriving at our lodge, 30 km away from Puerto Maldonado City.
On our way, you will be able to observe rural lands destined for agricultural and livestock activities near the city. If the weather is good, you will sight colorful plants like the large-flowered heliconias, and you will have the chance to observe diverse animals such as the capybaras, caimans, water turtles, herons, cormorants, carrion birds and birds of prey.
Upon the arrival in our lodge, you will be welcomed with delicious Amazon tropical fruit nectars and taken to your comfortable room (bungalow) reserved for the occasion. Once you are settled in the room, a hearty lunch will be served for you in our warm, rustically designed dining room.
 
Caiman Cocha
In the afternoon, our specialized guide will take you through an interpretive trail, conveniently signposted, to Caiman Cocha, a little lagoon where you will have the chance to observe the black caiman and the common caiman, as well as efficient predators located at the top of the food chain. They feed on a rich water fauna—mainly represented by fish— that inhabits the pond.
At dusk, you will witness the spectacular sunset over the Amazon region, an experience full of color in overwhelming ranges and intensities.
Back in the lodge, a delicious dinner will await you and you will have free time to share unforgettable moments at the bar, equipped with and excellent game room and all the drinks you can imagine.
The night fauna will lull you to sleep with the melody of a huge number of bird songs and calls.

DAY 08 - LAKE APU VICTOR - MONKEY ISLAND
The magic begins with birds singing from the Amazon paradise, waking up to the howler monkey calls. A hearty breakfast will provide you with the necessary energy for a morning full of new experiences.
 
Lake Apu Victor:
After breakfast, we will start a hike to the deep forest on conveniently prepared, preserved and signposted trails. On the way, we will cross the riverside to reach high-elevation forests, and then we will descend to floodable forests, to go up again to the hills. During the journey, we will see the widest range of flora and fauna in the wild.
Along the way, we will see diverse species of medicinal plants and fruit trees supporting the animal and human populations in the Amazon forests. Some of the most important are the moriche palm, mahogany, chestnut, catahua, cedar, trumpet-wood, copaiba, and shihuahuaco, among others.
With luck and in silence, you can see bigger mammals, like the Brazilian tapir and the white-lipped peccary; rodents like the giant otter, the capybara, the spotted paca and the armadillo; primates like the coto or howler monkey, the squirrel monkey, the lion monkey and the black-cap capuchin monkey; reptiles like the iguana and the bothrops atrox; amphibians like the toad and birds like the guan, the partridge, the golden parakeet and the blue, yellow and red macaw.
In the rainy jungle, you will see insects such as butterflies (Lepidoptera), scarabs (Coleoptera), crickets, cicadas, ants, centipedes and millipedes of several species.
We’ll arrive at the majestic Lake Apu Victor surrounded by immense swamps and gigantic trees. Then, we’ll go up to an Amazonian observation deck, from which you’ll get to enjoy a panoramic view on the lake, observe parrots, macaws, toucans, horned screamers, hoatzins, herons and other animals like caimans, turtles, etc.
A wide variety of fishes enters Lake Apu Victor with the flooding of the (heavy) rainy season. In addition, there are other species of fauna associated to the lake, like the yellow-footed tortoise, the matamata, the twist-necked turtle, the freshwater blenny, the kinkajou, the white-tailed deer, the Central American agoutis and the giant otter of the Amazon rainforest.
Back in the lodge, a refreshing lunch will be waiting for you.
 
Monkey Island In the afternoon, joined with our specialized guide, we will visit the Monkey Island, a few minutes away from the lodge in the center of Madre de Dios River. This island shows an enormous variety of exuberant flora and hosts numerous primate specimens like the black spider monkey, the black-cap capuchin monkey, the squirrel monkey, and the lion monkey. Also other species of little mammals like the ring-tailed coati (nasua nasua), the squirrel and an enormous variety of colored birds.
Finally, we will complete our visit to the island, enjoying a sunset with the most impressive dusk in the jungle.
Back in the lodge, you will taste an exquisite dinner.

DAY 09 – FLIGHT PUERTO MALDONADO TO CUSCO
After a refreshing night sleep, the loud vocalizations produced by the supersized voice box of the howler monkeys will greet you good morning. In our dining room, a hearty breakfast will wait for you. In our dining room, a delicious breakfast will await you before going back to Puerto Maldonado.
 
At the scheduled time, you will be picked up and taken to the airport to take your flight to Puerto Maldonado.

DAY 10 – CUSCO CITY TOUR
Pick up from the hotel at 09:00 AM, your tour starts at the Cathedral, after we will walk along the streets of the Incas from Plaza de Armas to Q’oricancha (Temple of the Sun) where we will observe the construction methods of the Incan culture and Catholicism. Inside Q’oricancha, you will visit four enclosures that were dedicated to different deities (sun, moon, stars and lightning).
After that will take a bus to the majestic archaeological site of Sacsayhuaman where we will participate in a guided tour.
From here we will take a 10-minute bus ride to the archaeological site of Q’enqo, which during its time was a commercial center.
Continuing from here we will take another bus to the archaeological site of Puca Pucara, a small Inca fort.
Finally we will visit the archaeological site of Tambomachay, a temple dedicated to water that has impressive Inca canals.
We will then take a bus back to Cusco to Plaza de Armas where the tour will end.

DAY 11 – HALF DAY MARAS MORAY TOUR
We will pick you up from your hotel in our tourist class transport. Our first stop will be at Moray, which is built on farming terraces with their irrigation canal.It is a prototype of a greenhouse. The hole has a depth greater than 150 m and an average height of 1.80 meters platforms between one and another.
 
Then we head to the Town of Maras, on the way we will see beautiful scenery in our journey. We´ll visit the natural salt mines and the 2000 small wells, which are filled with salt water coming from the natural source of water located in the same place, these salt mines where exploited by the Incas and  were used as a means of economic exchange, today even these mines are still exploited by local people for consumption in the region.

DAY 12 – FULL DAY SACRED VALLEY + LUNCH
Breakfast will start your day at the hotel, followed by an early morning guided visit to the Sacred Valley. We will start the tour departing through the lush countryside, arriving at the colonial town of Pisac. Where a colorful market will welcome us.
We will continue our trip through the valley, passing by typical towns, until we reach the archaeological province of Urubamba where we will enjoy a delicious, local buffet for lunch.
After we have eaten, we will visit the old but lively ex-fortress town of Ollantaytambo. The town is composed of numerous temples and terraces.
Later on, you will board the comfortable Train to Aguas Calientes Station, with a spectacular view along the way.

You will leave our hotel after breakfast and board a bus that will take you to the entrance gate of the citadel of Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu is one of the most-visited sites worldwide. Machu Picchu dazzles all who visit it with its beauty and mystery.
You will follow in the footsteps of the ancient Incas as you explore this magical citadel along with your guide.
 
After the tour, you will stop at a local restaurant for lunch.
At the scheduled time, you will be picked up and taken to the Aguas Calientes train Station, where you will board your return train to Poroy Station.

DAY 14 – FULL DAY PALCCOYO MOUNTAIN + LUNCH
Pick-up at your hotel at around 06: 30 am.
We leave Cusco with our own private transportation and head to the south of the city into the Southern Valley. We pass valleys, rivers, mountains and some smaller communities. Our starting point is already at 4900 meters above sea level.
We hike uphill for about 45 minutes to the highest point of our excursion which is at 5000 meters. We pass the unique formations of the rainbow mountain range.
The view at the snow-capped Ausangate mountain is breath-taking. Once we are on the top of our viewpoint, we will have the Vilcanote Mountain range in front of us. You will have all the time to rest and to take pictures. Afterward, we descent for about 30 minutes back to the starting point. We take the bus to the place to have our lunch and return to Cusco where we arrive around 5.30 pm.

DAY 15 - THE ROUTE OF THE SUN TO PUNO + LUNCH
Breakfast will start your day at the hotel, and then we will depart for the City of Puno.
Our journey will take you by the lovely Wacarpay Lake, offering spectacular views of the mountains reflected in its calm waters. Then onward to the beautiful Town of Andahuaylillas, where we will visit the Church of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas, (better known as the Sistine Chapel of the Americas, due to its (decorated polychrome ceiling). Next, we will stop in the Town of Raqchi, where we will see a spectacular Incan Sanctuary. Built by the Incan Emperor Pachacutec, and dedicated to the Inca God of Wiracocha. It has a unique central wall with a stone base of fine Incan architecture. Other walls are made of giant adobe bricks.
The structure also has two circular lateral columns. Around the Temple are several buildings once used for housing and storage.
About 34 miles further, we will pass through the Town of La Raya. In this town, we will see herds of vicuñas and llamas while passing through.
Then our next stop, the Town of Ayaviri, an important livestock and textile center. Then we will visit the remarkable Temple of Kalasaya, ruins from the ancient Pucara civilization. Afterward, we will enjoy a buffet lunch in a countryside restaurant, where we can enjoy the delightful culinary art of the region.

DAY 16 – FULL DAY EXCURSION UROS & TAQUILE ISLAND + LUNCH
Breakfast will start your day at the hotel, then you will enjoy unforgettable motorboat excursion on the waters of Lake Titicaca to the unique “Floating Islands” of the Uros.
These ancient inhabitants of the Lake, known as “The Water Tribe”, have built their own “Islands” by periodically adding new layers of a type of reed called “totora” (Scirpus totora), vegetable fiber of the Papyrus family. Their homes and boats are also made from the same material.
Continuing our trip to the island of Taquile, known for having the best weavers of ancient Peru. This place has preserved many rituals and the lifestyle of the ancient Incas.
We will walk for about 30 minutes to the center of the island, stay there for 3 amazing hours and have lunch. Then we will descend down a long stairwell of 500 steps!

DAY 17 – FULL DAY PUNO TO COLCA + LUNCH
Breakfast will start your day at the hotel, then between 06:00 to 06:30 am, we depart Puno to Chivay, on the way we will see several lagoons and diverse migratory birds that can be can be seen on the way.
We will also pass through the crater of an extinct volcano (Chucura). Then we will stop at some point to view the volcanoes, which is also the highest part of the road (4,800 m.s.), and view much of the western mountain range.
Arriving in Chivay around 12:35 pm, we will enjoy a delicious lunch. At which time we will check in to our hotel.
Then at 04:00 p.m. We will pick you up from your hotel to go to the (Calera) The hot springs. Then return to your hotel in Chivay.
Then at 07:00 pm, you will be picked up from your hotel to enjoy dinner and a show. Where you will enjoy the typical dance of the area that last for an hour and a half approx.

DAY 18 – FULL DAY COLCA TO AREQUIPA + LUNCH
Breakfast will start your day at the hotel; we depart at 06:30 am.
We will head out to the viewpoint of the Cross-of the Condor, a strategic point of observation. On the way, we will stop in the villages of Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque; that have beautiful colonial churches, as well as in the viewpoints of Choquetico and Antahuilque, from where we will observe the impressive Valley of Andenería, Hanging Tombs, and the Hanging Bridge of Sifón that joins the Town of Yanque with Coporaque.
On our return to Chivay, we will have Lunch.
After lunch, we return to Arequipa, stop at the viewpoint of the volcanoes, which is also the highest area of the road, from where you can see much of the western mountain range. Taking the road to Yura, bordering the snowy Chachani.
Finally, at 3:00 pm, we will arrive at Arequipa.

Breakfast will start your day at the hotel, We will, then, visit the Santa Catalina Monastery, Plaza de Armas, the Jesuit Church "La Compañia", its cloisters and domes, the Tristan del Pozo House, and the Yanahuara neighborhood (vantage point and Church). This vantage point allows for an amazing view of the typical city of Yanahuara Carmen.
After enjoying a delicious farewell lunch, its time to say good-bye.
At the scheduled time, you will be shuttled from the hotel to the airport to board your flight back to Lima, Then to your connecting flight home.
